# PNW Book Calendar

> A calendar of public events at independent bookstores in the Pacific Northwest: author readings, book clubs, story times, and store events. Listings are copied as each store published them and link back to the store's own page. Non-commercial, no paid placements.

Coverage: the store registry behind this calendar spans Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, and western Montana. The current published data is weighted toward Puget Sound and the Interstate 5 corridor. Library events are not included yet and are the next source being added.

Data pull date: 2026-08-12 (the date the stores' own pages were read). Page built: 2026-08-18T18:19:02-07:00. Intended cadence is a weekly re-sweep; the pull date above is the record of what actually happened.

## Using this data

- Times are local to the venue and carry a UTC offset when the store published a clock time. When a store published no clock time, the feed gives a bare date rather than a guessed hour.
- A blank field means the source did not state the value. Nothing in this feed is inferred or filled in.
